Oracle Supply Chain Planning provides the tools to model and plan your entire supply chain. You can define all relevant organizations including those of suppliers and customers. In addition, you can pinpoint the relationships between each organization and the flow of materials through the supply chain using Oracle Sourcing Rules and Bills of Distribution.

Plan Multiple Organizations Faster with Single-Step Planning
With Oracle Supply Chain Planning, you plan material requirements and replenishments for any number of inventory organizations in a single step. The planning process simultaneously snapshots the status of supply and demand for all locations, using parallel processing to minimize the time. The in-memory planning engine then computes material requirements and generates planned replenishment orders for all plan locations. The engine takes into account the bills of distribution and sourcing rules as it determines the proper source for each planned replenishment order.

Simultaneous Material and Capacity Planning
The same memory based engine also plans capacity requirements simultaneously. You can view both material and resource constraint violations in a single window and drill down to see gross requirements, available supply (or capacity), and net requirements for the related materials or resources.

You can plan capacity for individual resources assigned to operations on routings (routings-based) or by production line (rate-based).

Update Faster With Online Net Change Simulation
You can use the Planner Workbench to view and update your supply chain plan, and run an Online Net Change Simulation to re-plan requirements and replenishments for selected items whose supply or demand schedule you changed, and the other corresponding items affected. Online Net Change Simulation re-plans only the items and resources you change; it does not re-snapshot information from the transaction systems. Therefore, you can run an Online Net Change Simulation in a fraction of the time required to run a new plan, then optionally choose to execute the simulated plan suggestions.
